When you think of a marketing campaign, you know there are a lot of different elements to consider… target audience, product mix, placement, SEO, and a whole lot more. But one element that always plays a part but is often (unfairly) low on the list of considerations, is design work.
Our July speaker is Winston Peraza of Cubic, a Tulsa-based creative agency, where he serves as Chief Creative Officer. In this role, Peraza advocates a design-driven approach to marketing and he’ll share with us some of his techniques and experiences. He’ll shatter some stereotypical assumptions about the designer’s role and share his thoughts on creating space for innovation and greatness. Some core guiding principles he will bring to our time together include:
- Designers are more than hipsters that can draw and push pixels
- Results-driven collaboration (who’s in the room?)
- Greatness takes trust, courage and a big sense of humor
